I would meet with you, see what your goals were for the painting, and understand the place it would hold in your heart.
We would settle on the size, theme, and purpose of the painting.
You’d put down a 50% deposit. I’d paint the painting. You’ll love it and pay the remaining 50%.
Generally commissions take 1-2 months to complete.
